Bryan Docobo is an attorney, speaker, father, and founder of the Coats Plus Foundation, a nonprofit organization created after his two sons, Liam and Ethan, were diagnosed with Coats Plus Syndrome, an extremely rare and life-shortening genetic disease.
Together with his wife, Danielle, Bryan transformed an unimaginable family journey into a mission of advocacy, research, awareness, and hope. Following the heartbreaking loss of their youngest son, Ethan, Bryan has continued fighting for his surviving son, Liam, and for families around the world affected by rare disease. Through the Coats Plus Foundation, he is working to advance research, support the development of potentially life-saving treatment, and create connection and resources for families facing similar diagnoses.
Professionally, Bryan is a South Florida attorney with experience in real estate, business, title, closing, and escrow legal services. His leadership is shaped not only by his professional background, but by the courage, determination, and compassion required to turn personal adversity into meaningful action.
Bryan’s story represents the very heart of resilience: choosing purpose in the face of pain, hope in the face of uncertainty, and service in the face of unimaginable challenge. His work through the Coats Plus Foundation is helping bring visibility to a rare disease while building a pathway toward research, treatment, and a future where other families do not have to fight alone.
